AI agents can now drive Blender, Unreal, Houdini and Adobe

NVIDIA's SIGGRAPH releases run local-first on your own RTX box — and it open-sourced Cosmos 3 Edge (4B) and Nemotron 3 Ultra (550B) on Hugging Face.

  • One MCP client, seven creative apps

NVIDIA and partners shipped MCP servers for Blender, Unreal Engine, Houdini 22, Adobe Creative Cloud, Affinity by Canva, Boris FX Silhouette and Foundry's Griptape. Point an MCP client at Blender and it gets a natural-language handle on the full Python API — inspecting scenes, renaming layers, building node trees and writing procedural code while you stay in the driver's seat.

  • Cosmos 3 Edge: a 4B world model for your Jetson

The open Cosmos 3 Edge reasons about a scene and generates robot actions on-device — real-time 15 Hz on a Jetson Thor, 32 actions per inference at 640×360, and #1 on VANTAGE-Bench in its class. Weights are on Hugging Face now, alongside 16B Nano and 64B Super; fine-tune on a single H100 box before shipping to the edge.

  • Nemotron 3 Ultra: a 550B open model

NVIDIA also dropped Nemotron 3 Ultra, a 550-billion-parameter open model, on Hugging Face with inference and post-training frameworks on GitHub — frontier-scale weights you can actually download, fine-tune and self-host.

  • Open toolkit to build and sandbox agents

The NVIDIA Agent Toolkit ships open blueprints plus an MCP client and server; OpenShell is a new open-source secure runtime for sandboxing agents, and NemoClaw bundles model, harness and runtime so you can run an agent against a local LLM out of the box.

  • A deepfake detector you can call

A Synthetic Video Detector NIM microservice landed on NVIDIA Build, flagging AI-generated video at 92% accuracy on uncompressed footage — a drop-in provenance check for anything users upload to your app.
