Describe a game, get a playable one
Google Playground (live at playground.google, rolling out US-first via Google Labs) turns a text prompt into a 2D or 3D browser game, single- or multiplayer, with Gemini writing the logic, Nano Banana drawing the art, and Lyria scoring it. Free to start, with more generations if you're on Google One; you can tweak physics, rules, characters, and environments in plain language.
Unity Spark is the pro off-ramp
A previewed Unity Spark tier (closed beta soon) adds the actual Unity runtime, high-fidelity 3D, and Unity Asset Store access. A prompt-built prototype can graduate into a real engine project instead of staying a toy, which matters if you ever wanted to ship a small game without starting from a blank editor.
Share it, rank it, get discovered
Games stay private, go out as a direct link, or publish to the Explore gallery after a safety and community review, with ratings and in-game leaderboards tied to Play Games profiles. Build this weekend: a tiny multiplayer game your friends load in a browser and fight over a leaderboard, with no store submission or build pipeline.
ChatGPT can now take audio uploads
OpenAI added audio file uploads to paid ChatGPT: drop in a recording to get transcripts, structured notes, follow-up drafts, or Q&A over the content. A quick way to turn a meeting or voice memo into text without standing up your own Whisper pipeline.
Ads are headed into ChatGPT image generation
OpenAI has started US testing of visual ads shown during image generation, with conversion measurement wired through Hightouch, Tealium, and LiveRamp. If your users live inside ChatGPT, plan for ad surfaces, and the tracking plumbing around them, showing up in that experience.
