Cloudflare's Web Search API lets any agent ground on the live web
Open beta via AI Gateway: search the web through Exa, Linkup or Ceramic, billed at provider cost with no markup, callable in one line from Workers.

One line gives your agent live search
A standalone Workers binding — env.AI.websearch() — or a REST POST to /accounts/{id}/ai/websearch/ returns fresh results your model can cite instead of answering from a stale cutoff. It runs through AI Gateway, so logging, caching and analytics come along for free.
Three providers, billed at cost
Choose Exa, Linkup or Ceramic.ai per request; queries draw down AI Gateway credits at each provider's list price with zero Cloudflare markup, and you can bring your own key. Swap backends to A/B search quality without signing three separate contracts.
ZDR partners flagged for sensitive prompts
Cloudflare marks which providers honor Zero Data Retention, so a grounding agent handling private queries can be pointed only at ZDR backends — handy if your product ships search under a compliance or privacy promise.
The catch: beta, no stated limits yet
It's an open beta with no published rate limits or free tier, and the native 'server tools' integration that would remove your own tool-orchestration is still 'coming soon.' Great for prototyping; pin a provider and watch the credit burn before production.
