Cursor Cloud Agents add Builds: 10x faster boot, no extra cost
Prebuilt, cached environments end per-session dependency installs. Plus: Claude Code restores Slack MCP sign-in, and Anthropic's reported $6B Decart bet.

Prebuilt environments, not cold starts
Cursor Cloud Agents now boot into a ready, pre-built environment instead of reinstalling dependencies on every run. Cursor says its internal environments boot 10x faster with 3x faster time to first token — and Builds ship at no extra cost.
A Builds tab that shows what broke
The new Builds dashboard exposes build status, logs, commit SHAs, and which build each agent run used. If an environment change breaks the build, agents keep running on the last good one while you debug. Turn it on via Cloud Agents → Builds → Enable Builds.
Claude Code 2.1.231 unbreaks Slack sign-in
v2.1.231 (Aug 13) fixes an MCP OAuth redirect-URI mismatch that blocked sign-in for servers using a pre-registered OAuth client — notably the Slack plugin. If your Slack MCP auth kept failing, update and re-authenticate.
Elsewhere: Anthropic reportedly eyes Decart
Anthropic is reportedly in early talks to buy Israel's Decart — a real-time generative-video and world-model startup — for about $6B. If it closes, real-time video and simulated-environment tooling could land in Claude's stack. Nothing is signed yet.
