Anthropic retuned Claude Fable 5's biology classifier, cutting false-positive fallbacks about 85% across surfaces — 67% on Claude.ai, 55% in Cowork, 17% in Claude Code. Everyday health questions, lab-result interpretation, and educational biology now go through, while dual-use virology, toxicology, and molecular design stay blocked. If your app brushes against medical or bio content, expect far fewer wrongful refusals.
Fast mode learns to go long
