Replit's Agent becomes an on-call engineer for your live apps

It reads your app's logs, writes a validated fix, and redeploys only if you opt in. Plus Agent-built skills, zero-credit hosting, and uv's new check.

  • Your published app gets an autonomous on-call engineer

Replit's new Monitoring Agent investigates production alerts using your app's own logs and metrics, pinpoints the likely cause, writes a validated fix, and emails you what changed. It will even redeploy on its own — but only if you enable the experimental Auto-republish toggle, which ships off by default; otherwise every fix waits for your review. Switch it on in an app's Publishing settings via Active monitoring + Auto-fix. It builds on this year's App Monitoring, which only pinged you when things broke.

  • Agent now spins your workflows into reusable skills

In the same release, Replit's Agent can turn repeated patterns from your chats and projects into saved, reusable skills, and suggest improvements to ones you already have. You review and approve each before it lands in your workspace's skills library — so the agent gets more consistent at your stack without you hand-writing instruction files.

  • Published apps can now idle at zero credits

Eligible top-up customers can keep published apps live at $0 credits up to an overage limit: paid Agent features pause, but Free mode stays available and warning emails arrive before any suspension, with new credits repaying the overage first. For side projects that were getting killed by idle billing, that's the difference between a live demo and a dead link.

  • Weekend grab: 'uv check' fuses uv and ty into one command

Astral's new integration (trending on Hacker News this weekend) lets uv sync your environment and run the ty type-checker in a single 'uv check' — and it finally type-checks single-file PEP 723 scripts against their OWN inline dependencies, editor completions included. It also lockfile-pins one ty version so your team and CI agree. Needs uv 0.12.3+ and ty 0.0.76+; automatic per-script env setup is opt-in for now, since installing deps runs third-party code.
