Your Mac activity becomes ChatGPT's memory
Computer History logs interaction events — clicks, typing, app switches, not screenshots — into a local, searchable timeline, so you can ask “what was I debugging yesterday?” and get an answer without re-explaining. It's opt-in and off by default, Pro/Business/Enterprise only, with the EEA, UK, and Switzerland getting it in the coming weeks. It replaces the screenshot-based Chronicle preview, and OpenAI warns it widens prompt-injection exposure.
@-mention your Drive files, no re-uploading
The same update pulls Google Drive into Library: browse Docs, Sheets, and Slides, @-mention them in the composer, point ChatGPT at whole folders, and — where you've authorized it — let it edit source files in place. It's rolling out on web to Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu, and Healthcare; My Drive and directly-shared items only, Shared Drives not yet, mobile later.
