Runs survive mid-response API timeouts
When the API times out mid-response, non-interactive sessions and subagents now continue from the partial response instead of dying. Unattended agent jobs and CI runs stop losing a whole task to one flaky request.
Long sessions auto-compact instead of failing
Conversations that used to hard-fail with “Prompt is too long” now auto-compact as they approach the limit. You can keep a long-running session alive without stopping to clear context by hand.
gh api is built into cloud sessions
Cloud sessions now ship with gh api even when the GitHub CLI isn’t installed, so the agent can read PRs, open issues, and query repos out of the box. One less setup step for cloud-based automation.
Ctrl+C no longer eats your draft
Clear a prompt with Ctrl+C and pressing Up restores the draft, including pasted text and images. A mistaken interrupt stops costing you a long, carefully built prompt.
Safer rm, tunable code review, MCP fixes
/code-review adds --max-findings <n>|all for custom limits, dangerous rm syntaxes regain their safeguards, and MCP tool calls stop firing twice on results over 16 MB. A cluster of reliability and safety fixes across review, shell, and MCP.
