Cowork, Design, and Artifacts fold into the main chat, and Claude decides what a request needs instead of making you pick a surface first. For daily users, any task — a report, a deck, a mockup — now starts in one thread that keeps shared context across everything it produces.
Slides that export to PowerPoint and PDF
Claude Slides drafts presentations inside a conversation, with direct editing, a present mode, and export to PowerPoint or PDF. You can turn your data into a pitch or internal deck and hand off an editable .pptx without leaving the chat.
Docs you edit with Claude, then push to Word or Google Docs
Claude Docs builds a document section by section, lets you comment and revise alongside Claude, and exports to Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Docs start private, share by a single link, and stay editable on mobile.
Design lands in every conversation
Claude Design, previously its own surface, is now callable from any chat with the same context as your docs and slides. One request can return embedded analysis, a written doc, and generated visuals in a single pass.
Who gets it, and when
It rolls out to Pro and Max first over the coming weeks starting September 16, with Free and Team following; Docs, Slides, and Design are in beta on paid plans. Enterprise admins control enablement and get 30-plus days' notice before it changes.
