  • A browser your app drives, natively

The new `browser_toolset_20260801` is a client toolset for driving a browser your own app hosts — Claude reads the page's accessibility tree, elements, forms and tabs, and controls form input. That's the missing piece for an agent that clicks through a real site without gluing together a separate scraper stack.

  • Computer Use drops the beta header

`computer_toolset_20260801` is now GA — no beta header — and adds batch actions (several actions in one turn, so fewer round-trips and tokens), zoom on by default, and per-member `configs`. Existing integrations should migrate off the old `computer_20251124` build.

  • Files and Skills APIs go GA

`/v1/files` picks up file expiration (`expires_in_seconds` / `expires_at`) plus `ids[]`-filtered pagination, and `/v1/skills` no longer needs the `skills-2025-10-02` header. Two fewer beta flags to strip out of your production code.

  • Fence your agent's web access by domain

Managed Agents' web search and fetch tools now take `allowed_domains` or `blocked_domains`, and self-hosted sandbox sessions get a memory store. You can pin an autonomous agent to a trusted set of sources before you ever let it browse.

  • Elsewhere: Claude Tag now reads the whole channel

Anthropic dropped the per-message classifier behind Claude in Slack — it now weighs full-channel context, is ~30% better at judging when *not* to chime in, and the extra context "does not count toward usage or spend limits." Teams and Enterprise only.
