One week to reset your Claude Code week
On Sept 14 the temporary 50% weekly boost (live since May 13) expires, trimming current weekly limits ~17% — settling around 25% above the pre-May baseline. Pro, Max, Team, and seat-based Enterprise are affected; the 5-hour session windows are untouched, so it's your weekly ceiling to re-plan.
Copilot retires four models on Oct 2
GitHub is deprecating Gemini 3.5 Flash, Gemini 3.6 Flash, Kimi K2.7 Code, and Claude Opus 4.7, steering users to Gemini 3.8 Flash, Kimi K3, and Opus 5. If any are pinned in a workflow or org model policy, switch before the cutoff or your requests quietly fall back.
Gemini's Omni Flash preview endpoint sunsets Sept 30
The preview endpoint for Gemini Omni Flash — the omni model with video extension, image interpolation, and 360p-to-4K output — retires Sept 30 now that GA is live. Repoint SDK calls to the GA endpoint to keep video-gen jobs from breaking.
Last day for Mercury 2.5 at 80% off
Inception's Mercury 2.5 Preview — a diffusion LLM clocking ~1,100 tokens/sec — is 80% off on OpenRouter through today (Sept 7). It's the cheap window to benchmark a diffusion model for latency-sensitive agent loops before pricing resets.
