It rebuilds frames, it doesn't stretch them
FLUX Video Upscale regenerates each frame at the target resolution instead of interpolating, taking sources from 480p up to 1080p, 2K or 4K at a 1.5–3x factor (2x default). Point it at soft output from FLUX 3, LTX or MiniMax and the tell-tale mush largely resolves into real detail.
Precise keeps faces, creative invents detail
One `creativity` control switches behavior: precise mode (0) sharpens while staying faithful to the source — the safe pick for faces, products and real people; creative mode (1, the default) restores and invents fine detail, best on textures, crowds and scenery. Source audio is preserved and output runs at 24fps.
Per-megapixel-second pricing, 20-second cap
You pay per megapixel-second of delivered output — $0.07 in precise mode, $0.10 in creative — and only for successful runs. Inputs top out at 20 seconds and 50MB, output at ~14.4MP a frame (roughly 4K), so it's built for hero shots and clips, not whole timelines.
