Gemini Spark agent drops ~90% to the $20 Pro tier
Google's task agent — Gmail, Docs, Sheets, a remote browser and code execution — leaves the $200 Ultra tier; it's US-only and asks before edits.

The tier drop: up to 90% cheaper
Spark was locked to Google AI Ultra ($100–200/mo); it now runs on AI Pro at $19.99 — up to ~90% less — for US subscribers, while Ultra keeps worldwide, multi-language access. It's Google's answer to autonomous assistants like ChatGPT's agent mode.
What it actually does
Spark chains real work across Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Keep and Tasks, plus a remote web browser and code execution — think 'find these emails, draft the replies, then build the summary deck.' You can keep up to 15 tasks running at once.
The guardrail and the catch
Spark pauses for you to review and confirm before it edits shared files, and it draws on the same compute-based usage limits as standard Gemini. New AI Pro access is English-only and US-first, with other regions listed as coming soon.
