ChatGPT voice can now analyze your files and use Projects
Upload a file mid-call and have it analyzed, reference a whole Project by voice — plus a bigger free tier and one-command skill packs for agents.

Files land in the voice call
GPT-Live now accepts file uploads inside a ChatGPT voice conversation — drop in a PDF, spreadsheet, or doc and ask about its contents out loud. It's hands-free document Q&A that used to force you back to the keyboard.
Your Projects, spoken
Voice also works inside Projects now, pulling a Project's recent chats, sources, and custom instructions into the conversation. That turns Projects into a spoken front-end for context you've already set up for a build or research thread.
Elsewhere: the free tier levels up
On Aug 6, GPT-5.6 Luna became the default for Free and Go users with unlimited text chats and a new Think button, while Sol on Plus/Pro gained a slider to dial reasoning depth up or down per answer.
Elsewhere: one-command skill packs
Vercel's skills.sh added skill packs: bundle skills from community folders, zips, or public and private GitHub repos, then install the whole set into Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor with a single `npx skills add` command and refresh with `npx skills update`.
