OpenAI caps paid ChatGPT accounts per device and payment card
Juggling paid logins on one machine now trips 'Device limit reached,' and logging out won't free the slot. Plus: Meituan's new 1.6T multimodal coder.

Paid ChatGPT caps logins per device
OpenAI now limits how many paid subscriptions can run on a single device or share one payment card, across Go, Plus, and Pro (100/200/500); Free, Business, Enterprise, and Edu are exempt. Developers who hot-swap accounts to stretch flat-rate quota hit a "Device limit reached" error — and logging out won't free the slot, so OpenAI steers you to paid add-on credits instead.
LongCat-2.5 adds eyes to a 1.6T coder
Meituan launched LongCat-2.5, a 1.6T-parameter MoE (~48B active per token) that now handles visual coding, design, and 3D alongside text, trained on long agentic task sequences and replays of real-agent failures. It's live on Meituan's API today, with GitHub and Hugging Face weights promised to follow — the MIT-licensed 2.0 base is already downloadable if you want to self-host now.
