$500/month in API credits, from your ChatGPT plan
OpenAI now lets eligible ChatGPT Pro and Business subscribers claim up to $500/month in free API credits — you activate it from ChatGPT or the API Platform by linking an API organization you own. If you run agents, Codex, or scripts against the API every day, your subscription now quietly covers that bill.
Prime Intellect makes DeepSeek's MoE kernel trainable
Prime Intellect added a fast, overlapping backward pass to DeepSeek's forward-only Mega MoE fused kernel, so it can finally drive training rather than just inference. They report up to 3.11x faster MoE kernels and roughly 34% higher end-to-end throughput over their Prime-RL baseline on 8xH200 nodes, in bf16, FP8 (Hopper) and MXFP8 (Blackwell). If you fine-tune or RL-train your own MoE models, that's a direct cut to run cost.
Four labs reportedly back one AI-training opt-out
OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and Anthropic are reportedly lining up behind a shared __usage_ai-training robots.txt directive for publisher opt-outs. Anthropic has reportedly begun honoring it; OpenAI says "coming months," Microsoft targets Feb 1 2027 and Google 2027, with Microsoft splitting controls for training vs. grounding (live-answer retrieval). Soon one line in robots.txt may decide whether your site feeds the big models.
