400+ days shrinks to your retention setting
From Oct 1, checks, workflow runs, and statuses obey your Actions retention — default 90 days, and public repos are hard-capped at 90 — instead of the 400+ days they were kept regardless of your config. Raise the limit or export anything you audit or build dashboards against before then, or old run history and status checks will start vanishing (private-repo Actions storage bills may drop as a bonus).
VS Code 1.135 picks up sessions from other apps
The editor can now continue a recent Copilot or Claude agent session you started elsewhere — the CLI, the web, another app — with its context intact, alongside a cleaner single-pane Agents layout. It ships on every tier from Free to Enterprise.
A one-click second opinion from another model
New multi-model comparison lets you ask a complementary model to double-check an agent's work and flag missed edge cases, and a per-turn readout now shows chat usage by model so you see what each one costs. Handy for catching what your default model glossed over in a review.

Organization and enterprise owners can now publish custom Copilot agents for use across every repo, and the model picker gains pinning, hiding, and inline pricing and context-window details. Also available on all plans.
