Gemini 4 Carbon tops the AI index — cyber defenders get it first
Google's strongest model scores 59 but stays gated; plus Claude's 128MB API requests, KT's 73-model router, and 26,400 live API keys leaked on Gitee.

Gemini 4 Carbon: #1, but gated
Google DeepMind's new frontier model took #1 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index v5 (score 59), built for cybersecurity and multi-day agentic runs. You can't call it yet: it's going to cyber defenders first via the Fairwind Program, with developer, business and consumer access "soon" at $2/$10 per M tokens intro (list $4/$20).
Claude API now takes 128MB requests
Anthropic raised the max request size on the Messages and Token Counting APIs from 32MB to 128MB on the first-party Claude API. That's 4x headroom for fat multi-doc prompts and image-heavy calls — context-window limits still apply on top.
KT's Token Factory routes 73 models
South Korea's KT launched Token Factory, a single console to pick, monitor and bill across 73 models (seven of them sovereign). Its Auto Model Router picks by task, quality and cost — KT claims up to 25% savings — and a November OpenRouter tie-in adds 500+ more.
Simantic simulates firmware for agents
YC-backed Simantic shipped a Rust firmware simulator so coding agents (and you) can test embedded code with no hardware attached, pitched against Renode and QEMU. If you've wanted an agent to iterate on device firmware over a weekend, this is the unlock.
26,400 live API keys found on Gitee
A researcher pulled 26,400 working cloud and AI credentials — OpenAI and DeepSeek keys among them — from public Gitee repos. Treat any key ever pushed to public Gitee as burned: rotate it and scrub your git history now.
