Update: Claude Code 2.1.252 patches Mac Bash and Remote Control bugs
A day after the feature-packed 2.1.251, this follow-up clears four bugs breaking Bash on some Macs, stalling Remote Control, and dropping your 'always allow.'

Bash stops failing on some Macs
2.1.252 fixes Bash commands erroring out with "task output swap refused (tasks dir moved or linked)" on certain Macs — a bug that was silently killing command runs mid-session. If 2.1.251 broke your terminal, this is the update to grab.
Remote Control stops hanging for minutes
Sessions hosted by Claude Desktop or VS Code no longer freeze for minutes after a tool finishes when the connection to claude.ai is degraded. If you drive Claude Code remotely over a shaky link, responsiveness is back.
'Always allow' finally sticks, and a crash is gone
Choosing "always allow" now saves in a project that has no .claude/settings.local.json yet, instead of re-prompting every run. A fourth fix stops very large failure output (think git errors on a full disk) from blowing past the API request-size limit and wedging the conversation.
