GPT-6 Astra and GPT-5.6 Sol arrive in Voice
Advanced Voice now lets you pick the model and set reasoning effort just like text chat, with GPT-6 Astra voice limited to Pro accounts. Deeper reasoning mid-conversation, on demand.
Voice drops to 1 credit/min, from 5
GPT-Live billing falls to 1 credit per minute — roughly 5x more talk time per credit — and enterprise usage-based voice is priced at $0.05/min. Long spoken sessions just got far cheaper to run.
The Instant/Medium/High voice tiers are gone
OpenAI deprecated the separate voice intelligence levels; effort is now a single control shared with text, so a prompt behaves the same whether you type it or say it.
Firecrawl flips on pay-as-you-go
The scraping API now auto-tops-up in $5 blocks (1,000–5,000 credits by plan) the moment your balance hits zero, with a monthly spend cap you set in Billing. Crawls stop dying mid-run on an empty account.
Vercel makes production auth free
Vercel Authentication now gates production domains at no cost on every plan, while standalone Password Protection moves to $20/mo per project on Pro. Gate a prod build behind sign-in without paying extra.
Elsewhere: ChatGPT Library adds sharing
You can now share files and folders with specific people or your whole workspace, set Viewer or Editor access, and pull the shared items straight into conversations.
