  • Gemini CLI runs plans with nobody watching

v0.63.0 executes multi-step plans in non-interactive mode, so you can drop it into CI or a cron job and let an agent run a plan end-to-end with no prompts. It also caps tool-output size and kills memory bloat and infinite auth loops in long-running agent loops.

  • Claude Code installs plugins straight from marketplaces

v2.1.292 adds one-step plugin installs from a marketplace instead of hand-editing config, plus a dial for how hard subagents work on a delegated task. If you lean on the plugin ecosystem or fan work out to subagents, that's less friction and more control.

  • Cursor's phone remote-control reaches local agents

The Oct 6 update extends iOS remote control to agents running locally on your machine and turns it on by default for most users (Enterprise can gate it in security settings). You can now watch tool calls and reply to a local agent from your phone, not just cloud-loop sessions.

  • Antigravity CLI makes long runs readable

v1.3.0 groups related actions into collapsible summaries so a long agent transcript stops being a wall of text, and fixes scrolling. Small, but it matters if you supervise long autonomous runs.
