Your ChatGPT plan now pays your API bill
Eligible ChatGPT Pro and Business subscribers can claim up to $500 per month in API credits by linking an API organization they own, from ChatGPT or API Platform. If you already pay for Pro, that's a monthly API budget you can point straight at agents and side projects — no new spend.
Decisions API goes GA — and doubles its limit
OpenAI's Decisions API is now generally available on gpt-6-luna, with shared-input prompt caching, images inside per-question instructions, and direct input_json. Each request now takes up to 400 questions, up from 200 in beta — room to batch twice the work if you build classifiers or routing layers.
12-hour prompt caching lands in the Responses API
You can now hold a prompt cache for 12 hours in the Responses API; cache writes cost 2.5x the input token price. For a long-running agent that reuses one big system prompt all day, you pay the write once and ride the discount for the rest of the shift.
GPT-6 Rosalind ships — but not for you yet
OpenAI released GPT-6 Rosalind for specialized biological reasoning and scientific tool use, but access is locked to its trusted-access program for approved orgs. The signal for builders: the frontier is splintering into domain models you can't call, even on a paid plan.
