Codex 0.162 adds managed Git worktrees for parallel agent runs
OpenAI's CLI also fixes apply_patch mangling CRLF, adds /copy and clickable links, streams Code Mode results, and now defaults to GPT-6.1 Sol.

Managed worktrees, created from the agent
Codex can now create and list Git worktrees in trusted local projects, so you can fan out several agent sessions onto isolated branches without hand-running `git worktree`. Turn on the worktrees feature to use it.
apply_patch stops mangling CRLF
Patch updates now preserve existing CRLF line endings by default, no opt-in needed. That ends the spurious whole-file diffs that hit Windows and mixed-line-ending repos.
TUI gets /copy and clickable links
`/copy` navigates and copies transcript blocks, Ctrl+Insert grabs selections, and mouse-scroll speed is tunable. URLs are now clickable in approvals, questions and MCP prompts even when they wrap across lines.
Code Mode streams results as they settle
New JavaScript helpers stream promise results the moment each one resolves, and an opt-in ranked tool search sharpens tool selection. Both help if you wire Codex into larger agent loops.
GPT-6.1 Sol is the default, plus /mcp login
The prior 0.161 release flipped the bundled and Amazon Bedrock catalogs to GPT-6.1 Sol as the default model, and added `/mcp login <name>` to sign into MCP servers straight from the terminal.
