A full AI agent that self-hosts free on Cloudflare
Talorys is an MIT-licensed personal assistant — chat, persistent memory, tasks, notes, and recurring automations — that deploys into your own Cloudflare account with one `npx create-talorys` command, running on Pages, Workers, Durable Objects (SQLite), and Workers AI (GLM-4.7-flash) with no server or database you operate. It stays inside Cloudflare's free tier, so when the daily Workers AI quota runs out chat just pauses until reset while tasks, notes, and reminders keep working — a private agent on infrastructure you own for $0.
Microsoft's agent sandbox reaches 1.0.0
Microsoft Execution Containers (MXC), the policy-driven containment layer for AI agents on Windows and WSL, shipped its 1.0.0 release and is open on GitHub. You declare what an agent may touch — files, network, apps — and Windows enforces it at runtime via process isolation (restricted file and network access, already used by GitHub Copilot CLI) or session isolation (the agent walled off from your desktop, clipboard, and input), with hardware-backed micro-VMs and Linux containers on the roadmap. If you ship agents that run code or touch the filesystem, this is a real sandbox instead of trusting the model to behave.
Steer your local Cursor agents from your phone
Cursor's changelog added remote control for local agents: you can monitor and redirect a running agent from your iPhone while the work stays on your own machine. Start a long run at your desk, then approve, nudge, or stop it from anywhere instead of being chained to the terminal.
