Your Chrome sidebar is now a full Cowork agent
Claude in Chrome graduated from a Q&A extension into a full Cowork session that clicks, types, navigates and fills forms across web apps — and your skills and connectors run right inside it. Point it at internal dashboards, legacy systems and vendor portals that never had an API.
The session follows your account, not your device
Sessions are account-based, so you can start a task in the browser and pick it up in the desktop or web app with full context intact. The agent keeps working as you move between them, instead of resetting per device.
Who gets it — and the guardrails
Live now on Max and Team; Pro rolls out over the coming weeks; Enterprise is off by default behind admin domain allowlists. It's Chrome-only (no other Chromium, no mobile), purchases and personal-data shares still need explicit approval even in auto mode, and it carries the usual browser-agent prompt-injection risk.
