Adobe drops 70+ creative tools into Slack as an MCP app
Firefly, Photoshop and Premiere now take a Slackbot prompt — Adobe's bet that MCP apps are the new distribution layer. Plus a free way to verify Claude's work.

70+ Adobe tools, one Slackbot DM
Adobe for Slack turns a chat prompt into finished assets — generate images, video and PDFs, bulk-edit, remix templates, and pull Creative Cloud files by mood or subject, spanning Firefly, Photoshop, Premiere, Acrobat, Express, Illustrator, InDesign and Lightroom. It's live now on Slack Business+ and Enterprise+; connect your Adobe account and hand off to the desktop apps when you need finer control.
The real story is MCP as a channel
Adobe frames it as proof of “how MCP apps in Slack turn conversation into action” — the same Model Context Protocol you already wire into agents, now shipped as an end-user surface sitting inside Slack's install base. If you build tools, Slack's MCP-app slot just became a distribution channel worth targeting, not a demo.
Claude's content checker is live
Anthropic put up a free C2PA verifier at claude.com/check-content that tells you whether a PNG, JPG or SVG carries Claude's signed content credentials, on top of an imperceptible text watermark. Marking now ships on Fable 5.1 and Mythos 5.1 across the API, Claude Code and Cowork, and a Watermark Detection API is in private preview for eligible orgs. Mind the asymmetry: a mark means “possibly Claude,” but no mark never proves “not AI” — credentials fade with heavy edits or format changes.
