  • Your container registry, now in the CLI

`vercel vcr` creates and inspects registry repositories and browses images and tags from the terminal, working with Docker, Podman, and Buildah. If you ship container images to Vercel Functions or Sandboxes, registry management no longer means a trip to the dashboard.

  • Resolve review comments without leaving the terminal

The new `vercel comments` command lists, inspects, replies to, and resolves Vercel Toolbar comments straight from the CLI, so preview-deployment feedback becomes scriptable instead of dashboard-only.

  • Build this weekend: free speech and transcription on the AI Gateway

Fish Audio's text-to-speech and transcription models are free on the Vercel AI Gateway for 30 days. That's a one-call path to a voice bot or a meeting transcriber, billed through the gateway you already use, with no separate provider key.

  • Heads-up: Copilot drops Opus 4.5/4.6 and Sonnet 4.5 on Sept 1

GitHub Copilot retires Claude Opus 4.5 and 4.6, Sonnet 4.5, Gemini 3.1 Pro, and Raptor Mini across every surface on Sept 1; Sonnet 4.6 survives only for annual individual subscribers. If you pin any of these, switch to Opus 4.7/4.8/5 or Sonnet 5 now.
