Claude Cowork turns a screen recording into a reusable skill
Record a task once, narrate as you go, and Cowork replays it — live on Pro, Max and Team desktop, and broader than OpenAI's Mac-only Record and Replay.

Show it once, Claude does it again
Screen-record yourself doing a task in the Cowork desktop app and talk through it as you go, and Claude turns the recording into a reusable skill it runs on its own — no scripting. It lives under the + menu as "Record a skill."
Who gets it, and what to watch
It's live for Pro, Max and Team subscribers on desktop; the free tier is out. Two catches: keep passwords and sensitive data off-screen while recording, since the capture becomes the skill, and expect replays to break when a site's UI shifts.
Anthropic's answer to Record and Replay
OpenAI shipped a similar "Record and Replay" on June 18, but it's Mac-only and blocked in parts of Europe. Cowork's version widens the door — worth a look if you keep hand-writing the same agent steps every week.
