New Code Assist seats are no longer on sale
As of Oct 9, Google stopped selling new Standard and Enterprise Gemini Code Assist subscriptions. Existing seats keep working and auto-renew through the end of 2026, but auto-renewal stops in 2027, with paying teams steered to Antigravity via Gemini Enterprise. If Code Assist is in your stack, scope the Antigravity migration now instead of waiting for renewal.
Vercel's CLI lets your agent buy its own domain
Vercel added domain purchases to its CLI, so an AI agent can register a domain itself mid-build — no human checkout step. Chained with Vercel's sandbox and deploy commands, a coding agent can now go from scaffold to a live site on its own named domain end to end.
Patch DCGM Exporter: unauthenticated GPU-monitor crash
CVE-2026-47483 (CVSS 8.2) lets an unauthenticated attacker exhaust resources and crash NVIDIA's DCGM Exporter through an exposed /debug/pprof endpoint — the standard way GPU fleets feed Prometheus. It's fixed in DCGM Exporter 4.8.2, which makes pprof opt-in; if you run GPU dashboards, update and make sure that port isn't internet-facing.
