An open answer key for document parsing
LlamaIndex published the Document Parsing Protocol (draft 0.1): 140 rules for how a page's tables, forms, charts and diagrams should come out. Multi-row headers stay as HTML tables, empty fields become [blank], checkboxes [x] or [ ], charts flatten to value tables, diagrams emit as Mermaid, and hidden text is dropped. It's the annotation guide behind their ParseBench benchmark, now public on GitHub.
Run it today, then grade your own parser
No new infra needed: load the DPP skill into Claude (Customize - Skills, code execution on) or drop the reference file into ChatGPT, attach a page image and paste the prompt. Weekend build: diff your current ingestion parser against DPP's expected output on your own PDFs, and open an issue or PR when a rule breaks or two rules conflict.
ChatGPT plugs into iCloud Mail and Calendar
OpenAI added iCloud Mail and Calendar plugins on every ChatGPT plan across web, desktop and iOS: read and search @icloud.com mail, manage drafts and contacts, and read, schedule or update Calendar events. You connect with an app-specific password for each. Caveat: Apple addresses only, so it won't touch Gmail or Outlook sitting in the iOS Mail app.
Claude ships ready-made legal artifacts
Anthropic added Claude artifacts for contract review, legal-citation checking and regulatory tracking: start from a sample, connect your own documents, and share the workspace. A prebuilt workflow to fork if you're wiring Claude into document-heavy review instead of prompting it from scratch.
